Luke and Amanda Taylor

Luke and Amanda Taylor are some of the most fun people you could ever be around. They have been married since 2020 and welcomed their first child into the world, Maverick Isaiah, in 2024. Luke and Amanda have been in full-time ministry for over a decade. Amanda spent several years in leadership with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) serving overseas as a missionary. Luke holds his masters of divinity with a concentration in spiritual formation from Regent University. The two began Selah Church as a house church with a few faithful friends and watched as God grew the church into what it is today. At their core, Luke and Amanda desire to be fully yielded to the leadership of the Holy Spirit and create a safe space where people can come as they are and discover who God is.
Jordyn Armstrong
Worship Director
Jordyn Armstrong is one of the most intentional people you will ever meet. She has been worship leading for over ten years and has been a pivotal pioneer in Cabin Worship, a worship movement seeking to unify the body of Christ in Fredericksburg, VA through worship and prayer. Jordyn has been married to Matt for 13 years and they have three beautiful children: Emma (10), Finn (7), and Sparrow (2). Jordyn carries a pastoral heart extending past the boundaries of worship alone. It is because of this, Selah Church is honored to have her in the role of worship director as she both anchors the church in worshipping God in Spirit and in truth while also developing our growing worship team.
Kylie Martin
Selah Kids Director
Kylie Martin is the definition of what it means to be a thoughtful person. Kylie grew up a missionary kid as her parents are still involved with full-time missions in Loretto, Peru. In 2018, Kylie graduated from Liberty University receiving her bachelor's degree. Alongside serving as the Selah Kids director, Kylie has worked with children in various places of work. In 2024 Kylie married the love of her life, John, and the two have taken the world by storm ever since. Kylie's love for children and heart for parents made her the perfect person to lead out our Selah Kids ministry!
David Hernquist
Band and Tech Director
David Hernquist is one of the most humble people you will ever meet. He has been serving within the greater Church for over ten years. He has been married to Maureen for 9 years and they have three beautiful children: Mia (7), Judah (5), and Abby (5 months). David's primary passion is for music as he is a gifted pianist and guitarist. David has an enormous heart for worshipping God in Spirit and in truth. It is because of this, Selah Church is honored to have David as its functioning band and tech director as David gives supportive leadership to all things worship within Selah Church.
